Sevierville, Tenn. – Chuck Winstead-Brown was honored as the 2026 Friend of the
Year during the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Membership Breakfast presented
by Conner & Co. on March 10. Winstead-Brown, Special Events Coordinator for
Ripley’s Sevier County Attractions, received the award in recognition of his
active involvement with the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce.
“While I was totally surprised, I am very thankful to the Sevierville Chamber
for giving me the Friend of the Year Award,” says Winstead-Brown. “It’s easy
to be a friend to the Sevierville Chamber and as a volunteer I enjoy helping make their events happen.”
As a thank you for his dedication, Winstead-Brown received $500 courtesy of Walters
State Community College as well as a trophy courtesy of Sign Master.
“Chuck is a constant at our Chamber events, a strong supporter of the
tourism industry, a great representative for his company, and a valuable
member of our community,” says Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Chief
Executive Officer Brenda McCroskey. “Because he is always giving back,
we were very pleased to honor him with this award.”
Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Membership Director Erin Cavette
echoes that statement, saying, “Chuck encourages new businesses to
become part of the Sevierville Chamber, serves on our events committee,
and always connects ideas and people. He’s a joy to be around and
we’re proud he is our 2026 Sevierville Chamber Friend of the Year.”
The Sevierville Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1963 with the purpose of promoting tourism,
industry, and economic growth while preserving Sevierville and Sevier County’s heritage.
