Sevierville, Tenn. – Jodi Valentine was honored with this year’s Friend of the Year Award during the
Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Membership Breakfast on March 11. Valentine, AVP and Marketing Director
of Citizens National Bank, received the award in recognition of her commitment to active involvement
with the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce.
Although she was out of town for the official presentation, Valentine was given the award early and
delivered her remarks via video saying, “It has been my absolute pleasure and an honor to be involved
with the Chamber in every aspect. Serving on committees, helping out at events, doing everything
I can for the Chamber – and that will not change! I’m honored. I’m thankful. I’m giddy. I’m happy. Thank you so much.”
As a thank you for her dedication, Valentine received $500 courtesy of Walters State Community College as well as a trophy courtesy of Sign Master.
“Jodi makes sure that Citizens National Bank is well represented by serving on committees, volunteering,
and being an active participant in the Chamber,” says Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive
Officer Brenda McCroskey. “Through her involvement in many worthwhile initiatives, Jodi continues
to make a positive impact on our business community.”
Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Membership Director Erin Cavette echoes that statement, saying,
“Jodi goes above and beyond to make connections between businesses and the chamber. She always
participates in events and is ready to help anytime. Because of that, we were pleased to present her this year’s Friendship Award.”
The Sevierville Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1963 with the purpose of promoting tourism,
industry, and economic growth while preserving Sevierville and Sevier County’s heritage.
