Event in Sevierville
Sevierville Chamber of Commerce - Chamber Friends

Historic downtown Sevierville will take on an eerie aura on Saturday October 27, 2018 with the first ever History & Haunts event featuring the Jack-O’-Lantern Jubilee. During the event guests can enjoy guided historic ghost tours, a carved jack-o’-lantern contest, and a family-friendly Halloween dance party.

The first-ever Jack-O’-Lantern Jubilee will feature a display of creative jack-o’-lanterns entered in the fun contest which is open to the public. The lighted entries will add an autumnal ambiance to the crisp fall evening.

Prizes will be awarded for the top three winners in the following categories: Youth 5-8, Youth 9-12, Youth 13-18, Adults 19-54, Seniors 55 plus, and Business. A cash prize will be awarded to the overall winner as scored by the judges. The classroom with the most student participation will receive a cash prize as well.

Carved Jack-O’-Lanterns must be dropped off, along with entry form, at the Bruce Street Gazebo between 9am and noon the morning of October 27. There is no fee to enter, but you must provide your own pumpkin.

History & Haunts activities are from 5pm until 9pm with ghost tours beginning at 6pm and 7:30pm around the gazebo on Bruce Street. To get more information about the Jack-O’-Lantern Jubilee and enter a pumpkin, click here.
